Pianist and composer Ryan Cohan brings his quintet as the artist-in-residence group for the 30th annual Guimarães Jazz Fest in Portugal. We’ll be performing several times and teaching students from the ESMAE Conservatory in Porto, PT. The quintet is comprised of some excellent musicians from Illinois and New York: Ryan Cohan (piano, compositions), Tito Carrillo (trumpet, flugelhorn), Scott Burns (tenor, soprano saxes), Lorin Cohen (bass), and George Fludas (drums).
