This is a warm-up to performances at the Guimarães Jazz Festival in Portugal in November 2021. This quintet will be in residence performing and working with students for 9 days. I’m very excited to play with an outstanding group of musicians, all of whom I’ve had the pleasure of working with in a variety of settings over the past 2 decades: Ryan Cohan (piano, composer), Tito Carrillo (trumpet), Lorin Cohen (bass), and George Fludas (drums). Can’t wait!
